April 06, 2007 LITTLE ROCK A rebate offer is one way in which companies entice consumers to buy their goods, especially expensive items like cell phones and televisions. To take advantage of a rebate offer, usually the consumer has to buy the item at full price and then mail in certain documentation, including the original sales receipt, rebate slip, UPC code and the customer's name, address and telephone number. In many cases, these materials are required to be sent to the manufacturer or retailer within 30 days of purchase. Normally, consumers receive their rebates within 12 weeks of purchase. However, if there is no time specified, the consumer should receive their rebate within a reasonable time
