The Office of the Attorney General is seeking to hire a qualified candidate to serve as a full-time fiscal specialist. The fiscal specialist works under general supervision and is responsible for the maintenance and input of financial accounting data. Typical functions include, but are not limited to, preparation and input of vouchers for payment. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency policy.
Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution of higher learning plus three years of experience in accounting. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these education requirements. The qualified candidate should have working knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Access, Excel, and principles and practices of accounting. Experience with the Arkansas Administrative Statewide Information System (AASIS)is preferred. Salary will depend upon relevant experience.
