Says ‘The views and values of Arkansans must be heard in Washington, D.C.’
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge today released a statement following her meeting with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt at his office in Washington, D.C.
“The views and values of Arkansans must be heard in Washington, D.C., which is why today's meeting with Administrator Scott Pruitt was so important,” said Attorney General Rutledge. “Administrator Pruitt and I talked openly about the need to protect our clean air and clean water in a cooperative and lawful fashion. I reassured the Administrator that I support the agency returning to its core mission, and I will continue to protect our farmers, ranchers and small businesses against overregulation."
While in Washington, D.C., Rutledge also met with the Acting General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
