Community Relations

The Office of Community Relations (OCR) serves as the liaision between the Office of the Attorney General and the community. OCR consists of two subdivisions: Constituent Services and Public Events & Training.

Constituent Services serves as the primary point of public contact for the office. In addition to assisting office visitors and callers, Constituent Services connects members of the public to resources within the Attorney General’s office as well as services offered by other government agencies. Constituent Services serves as liaisions for information and assistance between the Attorney General’s office and the public.

Public Events and Training hosts major public-attendance events and training for law enforcement officers across the state. They also coordinate many presentations to educate the public about drug abuse, identity theft, scams, and internet safety.
