Office of the Attorney General Fully Open to Public for First Time Since March 2020

Griffin: ‘I am excited to announce my office is now fully open to the public for the first time in over three years’

LITTLE ROCK – Attorney General Tim Griffin today made the following announcement about public access to the Office of the Attorney General:

“Like many government buildings around the world at the dawn of the pandemic, the Office of the Attorney General closed its public access in March of 2020. Upon taking office in January of this year, the Office of the Attorney General remained closed to the public. I immediately ordered a review of our public access policy and security protocols. After completing a series of upgrades to our security infrastructure and customer service capabilities, I am excited to announce my office is now fully open to the public for the first time in over three years.

“For members of the public to access our building at 323 Center Street in Little Rock, take the elevator to the second floor where you will be greeted by members of my Community Relations team. They will sign you in and help you determine where to go next.

“I am grateful to the members of my team who have worked to restore public access to our building, particularly Chief Wayne Bewley, who leads our Special Investigations Division and oversaw the installation of security infrastructure, and Anushree Jumde, who leads our Office of Community Relations.”
