FOIA Webcast

Thursday, August 12 10 a.m. to Noon

The webcast will include FOIA Made Simple presentations by the Attorney General’s Office detailing responsibilities and rights covered under the act related to public meetings and documents.
This webcast has been approved for two hours of law enforcement credit (CLEST). Two hours of continuing legal education (CLE) is pending.


2021 Attorney General’s Office Hosted CalibrePress Online Trainings

Attorney General Leslie Rutledge is proud to offer increased availability for statewide law enforcement training. Over the next 12 months, in addition to our in-person trainings, we will be offering the following online classes. All of our law enforcement training will be offered free of charge. In order to provide more attendance flexibility, attendees will now have the entire month to view the training at a time that best fits their schedule. When the month of the training arrives, each attendee will receive a personalized link and passcode.

Never Forgotten – Arkansas Takes Action

Attorney General Leslie Rutledge would like to invite you to the FREE 10th annual Never Forgotten – Arkansas Takes Action event. This is a special gathering for families and the Arkansas law enforcement community to raise awareness of the issues surrounding missing persons and to recognize Arkansas’s missing. As part of this important event, there will be a morning session for families followed by a luncheon to recognize Arkansas’s missing. Additionally, the event will include all-day training sessions for law enforcement and attorneys. Register early to reserve your spot.


2021 Elder Abuse Conference

Arkansas State University – First National Bank Arena

Register today for Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge’s second statewide Elder Abuse Conference. The training will be held Thursday, September 2nd at Arkansas State University’s First National Bank Arena. This all-day event is free and open to the public. Law enforcement, medical professionals, providers, attorneys and home caregivers are welcome to learn how to better protect older and developmentally disabled adults. An agenda will be posted in the coming weeks.


2021 Law Enforcement Summit

Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge is inviting you to attend the FREE 19th annual Arkansas Law Enforcement Summit featuring de-escalation presentations by Lieutenant Jim Glennon and a luncheon keynote by Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes. Join us Tuesday, October 5th from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Benton Event Center. We anticipate approval of 8.25 hours of Law Enforcement Standards (CLEST) and 7.5 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE).



Arkansas Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Summit

Register today to join us on Tuesday, November 16th in Northwest Arkansas for the 10th annual Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Summit. We will offer 5 breakout tracks: clinical, criminal justice, family, counseling/recovery and education/prevention. A full conference agenda will be released closer to the event. 2021 Officer of the Year Luncheon

Please join Attorney General Leslie Rutledge January 13, 2022 at the Benton Event Center to recognize outstanding law enforcement winners from each of the 75 counties in the state. Out of this amazing group, the 5 regional winners will also be featured. The statewide Officer of the Year will be announced. General Rutledge will also present Valor Tributes to the families of fallen officers.
